Terms of Use
Effective 24 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the Concert Buddy app and its online services. "We" and "us" means the developer of Concert Buddy, who is named as the seller on the App Store. By using Concert Buddy you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs your licence to use the app. If the two conflict, these terms apply, except that nothing here reduces Apple's rights under its agreement. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use Concert Buddy
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use Concert Buddy. If you're under the age of adulthood where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
2. Your account
You can use Concert Buddy as a guest or sign in with Apple or Google. You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your device secure. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete Account).
3. What Concert Buddy does, and its limits
Concert kits are written by an AI model using the event's public listing (where one is available) and general knowledge about the performers and music. We work hard to keep them accurate and label anything the listing doesn't confirm, but kits can still contain mistakes or out-of-date information. Performers, programmes, setlists and timings can change. Always check important details, such as dates, times, venues and age restrictions, with the venue, promoter or ticket seller.
Concert Buddy isn't affiliated with, or endorsed by, the artists, venues, promoters or ticket sellers it mentions. We don't sell tickets.
4. Free plan and Concert Buddy Plus
The free plan includes a limited number of concert kits (currently 3 every 30 days). Concert Buddy Plus is an optional subscription that raises the limit (currently to 10 kits a day). Limits help us prevent abuse and keep the service running, and we may adjust them. If we reduce what Plus includes, we'll tell you in advance.
- Plus is sold through the App Store and paid for with your Apple ID. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the same price and for the same length, unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in the app (Profile → Manage Subscription) or in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. If you cancel, Plus stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
- If a free trial is offered, you won't be charged until it ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before then. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Apple handles payments and refunds. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. If we change the price, Apple will tell you in advance and, where required, ask for your consent.
5. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- use Concert Buddy for anything unlawful, harmful or misleading;
- access our servers other than through the app, or use bots, scripts or scraping to do so;
- get around usage limits, for example by creating multiple accounts;
- try to break, overload or test the security of the app or our servers, or copy, modify or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it; or
- resell or commercially exploit the app or the kits it creates.
6. Your content
Your concerts, journal reflections and other notes are yours, and they're stored on your device. When you create a kit, you let us process the concert details you send, as described in our Privacy Policy, so we can create it for you.
7. Our content and third-party content
The app, its design and its content belong to us or our licensors. You may use the kits Concert Buddy creates for your own personal, non-commercial use. Event listings, artist information, photos and other material from third parties, such as Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, MusicBrainz and Wikipedia, belong to their owners and may be under their own licences. Links to other services, such as Spotify, are for your convenience; their terms apply when you use them.
8. Changes and availability
We're constantly improving Concert Buddy, so features may change, and we may stop offering some of them. We'll try to keep the service available but can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. If we stop offering Plus, we'll give you reasonable notice.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using Concert Buddy and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if the law requires it. Cancelling a subscription is done through Apple, as described in section 4.
10. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, Concert Buddy is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that kits will be accurate, complete or suitable for a particular purpose. This doesn't affect any rights you have as a consumer that can't be excluded by contract.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or opportunities, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Concert Buddy Plus in the 12 months before the claim and US$50. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the developer is established. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring claims in its courts.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll tell you in the app or on this site before it takes effect. If you keep using Concert Buddy after that, the new terms apply.
